In October, as the leaves begin to change and the temperature starts to cool, the Appledore IV changes course and we begin our popular two-hour autumn color tour sails. Sailing upriver on the Saginaw, passengers will enjoy hot cider, chili and cornbread while keeping a sharp eye for Bald Eagles, Snowy Egrets and of course the lovely colors. Cozy quilts available too!

As we travel South on the Saginaw River you will see a host of flora and fauna, including snowy egrets and bald eagles. you will also view the powerful impact of the spread of invasive wetland plants that are changing this vital habitat. A delicious "Schooner Stew" will be served as we travel the river. Narration included.
